I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The facilities were top-notch, and the location was perfect. I loved that it was close to Lake St Clair and The Wall, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was wonderfully presented, offering a comfortable and cozy stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, a welcome relief after experiencing an uncomfortable one elsewhere. The fully equipped kitchen and small balcony with a BBQ provided everything I needed. The spa in the bathroom was a wonderful touch, especially after a long day of hiking. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of radox and a candle, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel even left a newspaper and a small bottle of port, which was a thoughtful gesture. The nearby bakery was a great find, offering delicious breakfasts and coffee. The pub also served tasty meals, with authentic Sri Lankan curries from the talented chef. Another great feature was the availability of a washer and dryer, which came in handy after a day of hiking. this hotel provided a fantastic experience, with clean and comfortable accommodations, excellent facilities, convenient location, and friendly staff.
Nothing to fault.

John and Louise were brilliant hosts. After finding out what our plans were (by asking out of friendliness), they did everything possible to make our trip a success - even calling after we'd left to offer us a lift after our hike. Well above and beyond. Oh, and accommodation was awesome as well. Full marks!

The location was perfect for us. The host was friendly and offered complimentary coffee, port and a chocolate. The studio was extremely comfortable.
The tone of the sign telling us to clean the kitchen or we'd be charged a $50 cleaning fee and that if we ate any of the cereal we'd be charged for a full breakfast. The facts were fine, however the wording was offensive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chalets & Studios. The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and quiet. We loved hearing the sounds of the night animals, it was a truly immersive experience. The chalet itself was cozy and well-appointed, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The added bonus of a spa bath was a luxurious touch after a long day of exploring. Additionally, being within walking distance of the only open food outlet was very convenient. we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to others.

The unit was very self sufficient with everything we needed, except for a fan, as the weather was rather warm!
Unfortunately the owners( or one half of them) were not very friendly, such a pity, when other places we had stayed the owners were charming and made us feel so welcome!

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, studio chalet was modern, clean, well designed and had everything one might need. Loved the little extra touches souch as the port and chocolates!
The bed was uncomfortable (soft, sunk into the middle) - my partner and I did not sleep well unfortunately. Only down side of the stay - but an important one.

The chalet was very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy escape for our romantic getaway. The location was perfect for exploring Lake St Clair, with convenient access to hiking trails and stunning natural beauty. We especially enjoyed the quality kitchen and great shower, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
The host was unwelcoming and made us feel like an inconvenience. It would have been nice to receive a warmer welcome and more friendly service throughout our stay.

I loved having a private balcony to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. And being able to have a BBQ meal outside was great, although I had to fight off a few curious animals trying to steal my food.
Oh, and who needs WiFi or shelves in the bathroom anyway? Who needs convenience and connectivity when you can have a rustic experience?

Had to love the fact that I had the entire cabin to myself, complete with a private balcony for me to sit and judge the wilderness from. And let's not forget the convenience of having a BBQ area for me to pretend I know how to cook outdoors.
I was devastated that there was no "Welcome, Your Highness" banner upon arrival. How dare they not roll out the red carpet for moi?

The chalets were spotlessly clean and well stocked with new kitchen appliances. the shower was spacious and the chalets had a pretty outlook. Despite being on the highway, it was very quiet and we even had visits from wildlife. the accommodation confirmation also gave helpful suggestions of what to see between Hobart and Queenstown, which we appreciated.
Felt quite safe, no complaints.
